 B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
 (1)
Make sure that the aircraft is on a horizontal surface.

 (2)
Do a precise leveling (Ref. TASK 08-22-00-200-001).

 4. Procedure
_________
 (Ref. Fig. 502/TASK 33-43-11-991-005) Subtask 33-43-11-820-051
 A. Adjustment of the Runway Turnoff Light
 (1)
Install the screen (2) in front of the aircraft. The distance between the screen and the nose landing gear must be 10 m (32.80 ft.).

 (2)
Turn the screen (2) 45 deg. away from the aircraft axis (with the nose landing gear as a rotation axis).

NOTE : The screen can be a wooden board with a minimum height of 3 m
____
 (9.84 ft.) and a minimum width of 2 m (6.56 ft.).
 (3) Angular adjustment of the runway turn off light
 (a) Measure the distance "X" between the aircraft centerline and the ground. To do this, measure the distance between one of the leveling triangles and the ground (Ref. AMM 11-21-08 P.Block 001).

NOTE : To get an accurate distance, the aircraft must be on a
____
 horizontal surface.

 (b)
Subtract the vertical value 3.091 m (10.14 ft.) from the distance "X". This gives you the value "Y" which is the distance between the ground and the target on the screen. You must adjust the light beam to the center of the target.

 (c)
Loosen the nuts (1), and move the light to adjust the light beam on the target.

 (d)
 TORQUE the nuts (1) to between 0.6 and 0.75 m.daN (53.09 and

66.37 lbf.in) and make sure that the adjustment is correct.
 5. Close-up
________
 Subtask 33-43-11-865-061
 A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1LC1, 1LC2

 3. System Description
__________________ R R (Ref. Fig. 002) R The taxi and take-off light system consists of: R - a halogen light 8LR, rated at 450 Watts, installed on the nose landing R gear in a fixed position R - a transformer, to produce rated operating voltage R - a halogen light 7LR, rated at 600 Watts, installed on the nose landing R gear in a fixed position R - a transformer, to produce rated operating voltage R - two power supply relays 5LR for the takeoff and 6LR for the taxi light R - a switch 4LR, on the cockpit overhead panel. R The 115 VAC busbar 204XP supplies power to the taxi light through the R circuit breaker 1LR and relay 6LR. The 115 VAC busbar 103XP supplies power R to the take off light through the circuit breaker 3LR and relay 5LR. The 28 R VDC busbar 202PP supplies power to the switch 4LR through the circuit R breaker 2LR. The landing-gear computer supplies the power supply relays 5LR R and 6LR with a ground signal when the nose landing gear is downlocked.
