Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other

Put the leads of the flash tube assy (21) through the cable hole of the housing (15).

Install the flash tube assy (21) on the housing (15).

Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.

Connect the electrical connectors (17) to the transformer (7). NOTE : Obey the identification labels made during the removal
____ procedure to get the correct polarity and remove the identification labels.

Install the transformer (7) in the housing (15) with the screw (6).
(19)
Install the plate (4) on the housing (15) with the screws (5).
(20)
Install the housing (15) and the seal (14) or (34) on the flange (10) with the countersunk screws (3).
(21)
Apply the SEALANTS (Material No. 09-013) to the heads of the countersunk screws (3) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004) and let it dry.
(22)
Apply the PAINTS FOR DETAIL (INTERNAL AND EXTERN AL) (Material No. 07-001B) to the head of the countersunk screw (3) which gives the electrical bonding.

Install the flash tube assy (21) on the housing (15) with the four screws (2).
(24)
For the rubber bung (24) of the new lens (23) obey subsequent: FOR 6LV remove the rubber bung (24) from the new lens (23) if installed.
NOTE : You must remove the rubber bung (24) from the new lens (23) to
____ prevent that the condensed water stays in the lens (23).
FOR 7LV make sure that the rubber bung (24) is correctly installed in the new lens (23).

install a new seal (22).
FOR 7LV
install a new seal (32).

Install the new lens (23) on the fuselage (8) with the countersunk screws (1) (Ref. TASK 33-48-11-400-001) or (Ref. TASK 33-48-12-400-001).
NOTE : The pin (16) must engage in the rubber bung (24) if installed.

A. Reactivation of the Anti-Collision Lights
CAUTION : DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS.
_______ THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.
NOTE : For the torque values of the screws see the related AMM 20-21-11

(1)
Remove the tape from the related anti-collision light.
(2)
Remove the tape from the cable hole in the plate (18) of the anti-collision light.
(3)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(4)
Remove the countersunk screws (3) from the plate (18).
(5)
Lift the light assembly until you can see the electrical connector (9).
(6)
Disconnect the electrical connector (9) from the light assembly and support the electrical connector (9).

R (7) Replace the seal:
R FOR 6LV
R discard the seal (14) and install a new seal (14).
R FOR 7LV
R discard the seal (34) and install a new seal (34).
R (8) Remove the screws (2) from the plate (18) and remove the plate (18).
R (9) Remove the screws (11) from the housing (12) and remove the
R transformer (13).
R (10) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other
R items.
R (11) Make sure that the ignition wire of the xenon flash tube is fixed
R below the reflector (19).
R (12) Put the leads of the reflector (19) through the cable hole of the
R plate (18).
R (13) Install the reflector (19) on the plate (18).
R (14) Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct
R condition.
R (15) Connect the electrical connectors (17) to the transformer (13).
