R  if there are these two conditions: 
R  - if there are cracks on the front face, and 
R  - if there is movement of the parts of the front glass (the 
R  supporting structure does not hold them tightly). 
R  (2) If you do not remove or replace the cracked take-off light, you can 
R  do an alternative repair as follows: 
R  (a) Clean the surface of the take-off light lens with MISCELLANEOUS 
R  (Material No. 19-003) made moist with warm soap solution. 
R  (b) Dry the surface of the take-off light lens with a clean 
R  MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003).

 

 (c) Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-065) to cover the crack(s).
 NOTE : Make sure that the tape is correctly installed and has no
____ bubbles, wrinkles or tears in it.
 (d) Let the tape cure for 15 minutes minimum at a minimum temperature of 15 deg.C (59.00 deg.F).
 (3) If it is not necessary to replace the take off light, write in the aircraft technical log that the take off light is damaged.
 5. Close-up

 B. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
