Subtask 33-43-11-420-053
A. Installation of the Lamp
(1) For the lamp (4):
(a)
Connect the two electrical terminals (5) to the lamp (4) and put it in position on its support (6). Hold it in this position.
(b)
If necessary, install a new gasket (3) on the retainer (2).
(c)
Put the retainer (2) in position. NOTE : If the retainer is twisted, replace it.
____ R (d) Install the screw (1).
R (e) TORQUE the screw (1) to between 6 and 7 lbf.in (0.06 and 0.07 R m.daN). R
(2) For the lamp (4) (alternate configuration):
(a)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(b)
If necessary, install a new gasket (3) on the support (6).
(c)
Apply a layer of BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-004) to bond the new gasket (3) to the lamp unit housing.
(d)
Connect the two electrical terminals (5) to the lamp (4) and put it in position on its support (6). Hold it in this position.
(e)
Put the retainer (2) in position. NOTE : If the retainer is twisted, replace it.

(f)
Install the insulating washer (9), the washer (7), and the screw (8).
(g)
Tighten the screw (8) until the lamp (4) is held in position. NOTE : Make sure that there are no visual signs of distortion of

the retainer (2).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): FOR 3LC1
