A. Preparation for Installation
(1)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(4)
Remove the used sealant from the ground bonding surface of the support and the power supply unit with a nonmetallic scraper.
(5)
Make sure that the ground bonding surfaces have no signs of paint, sealant or corrosion.
(6)
Clean the ground bonding surfaces with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003) and a lint-free cloth.

B. Installation of the Power Supply Unit (18LV)
(1)
Make sure that the ground bonding attachment point point is clean (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).
(2)
Install the power supply unit (1) with the washers (3) and the screws (2).
(3)
Tighten the screws (2) diagonally opposite.
(4)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(5)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(6)
Connect the electrical connectors (4) and (5).
(7)
Safety the electrical connectors (4) and (5) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010)
