A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL is in the OFF position.
(2) On the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the NO SMOKING switch 190RH is in the OFF position.
(3) On the Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, make sure that the LIGHT EMER pushbutton switch and its integral light are off.

B. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Get Access
(1)
Put the stepladder in position:
FOR 10WL
at the left FWD passenger/crew door,
FOR 13WL
between the AFT passenger/crew doors.
(2)
Remove the ceiling panel to get access to the emergency power-supply unit: FOR 10WL remove 221BC at the left FWD passenger/crew door (Ref. TASK 25-23-42-000-001).
(3)
Remove the lower sidewall panel to get access to the emergency power-supply unit: FOR 11WL remove 241KW at the left emergency exit(s) (Ref. TASK 25-23-44-000-001), FOR 12WL remove 242KW at the right emergency exit(s) (Ref. TASK 25-23-44-000-001).
(4)
Lower one side of the emergency oxygen container to get access to the emergency power-supply unit: FOR 13WL disengage and lower one side of the emergency oxygen container 33WR between the AFT passenger/crew doors (Ref. TASK 35-21-41-000-001).
NOTE : Do not disconnect the electrical connector of the emergency

oxygen container.

R between the forward emergency exit doors,

R between the forward emergency exit doors.
R (2) Remove the ceiling panel to get access to the emergency power-supply
R unit:
R FOR 10WL
R remove 221BC at the left FWD passenger/crew door (Ref. TASK 25-23-42-
R 000-001),
R FOR 11WL
R remove 251KC between the rear emergency exit doors (Ref. TASK 25-23-
R 41-000-001),
R FOR 12WL
R remove 251KC between the rear emergency exit doors (Ref. TASK 25-23-
R 41-000-001),
R FOR 14WL
R remove 231JC between the forward emergency exit doors (Ref. TASK 25-
R 23-41-000-001),
R FOR 15WL
R remove 231JC between the forward emergency exit doors (Ref. TASK 25-
R 23-41-000-001),
R (3) Lower one side of the emergency oxygen container to get access to the
R emergency power-supply unit:
R FOR 13WL
R disengage and lower one side of the emergency oxygen container 33WR
R between the AFT passenger/crew doors (Ref. TASK 35-21-41-000-001).
