(1) Put the access platform at the APU tail-cone exhaust area Zone 317.
(2) Remove the APU exhaust access fairing 317AL (Ref. TASK 52-41-18-000-001).

R A. Removal of the Tail Navigation-Light Transformer 13LA
R (1) Disconnect the electrical connector (3).
R (2) Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
R (3) Remove the screws (2) and the washers (1).
R (4) Remove the transformer plate (4) with the transformer from the APU exhaust access fairing.

Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

Apply the SEALANTS (Material No. 09-003) to the mating surfaces.
