A. Installation of the Lower Beacon/Strobe Light 6LV
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Prepare the electrical bonding point at the mount plate (8) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).
(4)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(5)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(6)
Connect the electrical connector (1) to the light assembly (2).
(7)
Install the light assembly (2) and the new seal (10) with the screws
(3) and (9) to the mount plate (8).
(8)
Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-013) to the heads of the screws (9) and let it dry.
(9)
Apply PAINTS FOR DETAIL (INTERNAL AND EXTERN AL) (Material No. 07-001B) to the sealant of the srews (9).
(10)
Make sure that the bung (5) is removed. NOTE : You must remove the bung (5) to avoid that the condensed water

stays in the lens (6).
(11)
Install the lens (6) with a new seal (3) and the screws (4) and tighten.

R NOTE : TORQUE VALUES FOR SCREWS SHOULD BE USED IN ACCORDANCE WITH AMM____
R 20-21-11.
R (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
R (2) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

R tighten.
