(1) Put a warning notice on the EXT LT section of the panel 25VU to tell persons not to operate the taxi light.

A. Deactivation of the Taxi Light
R CAUTION : IF THE LAMP IS REMOVED, SAFETY THE WIRES WITH HIGH-SPEED TAPE._______
R R R (1) You must remove (Ref. TASK 33-46-12-000-001) or replace (Ref. TASK 33-46-12-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 33-46-12-400-001) the taxi light if there are these two conditions: - if there are cracks on the front face, and - if there is movement of the parts of the front glass (the supporting structure does not hold them tightly).
R R (2) If you do not remove or replace the cracked taxi light, you can do an alternative repair as follows:
R R (a) Clean the surface of the taxi light lens with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with warm soap solution.
R R (b) Dry the surface of the taxi light lens with a clean MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003).
R R (c) Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-065) to cover the crack(s).
R R NOTE : Make sure that the tape is correctly installed and has no____ bubbles, wrinkles or tears in it.
(d) Let the tape cure for 15 minutes minimum at a minimum temperature of 15 deg.C (59.00 deg.F).
(3) If it is not necessary to replace the taxi light, write in the aircraft technical log that the taxi light is damaged.
5. Close-up

B. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.

Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Remove the warning notice(s).
