A. Preparation for Installation
(1)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(4)
Clean the lens (6) with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth.

B. Installation of the Tail Cone Strobe-Light (19LV)
(1)
Install the flash tube assembly (9) with the screws (8).
(2)
Install the new gasket (7) and the lens (6) with the screws (5).
(3)
Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to the washers (2) and the screws (1).
(4)
Install the tail cone strobe-light (4) in the tail navigation light
(3)
with the washers (2) and the screws (1).

C. Close Access
(1)
Install the tail navigation light (3) (Ref. TASK 33-41-15-400-001).
(2)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

D. Do the test of the tail cone strobe-light (19LV) WARNING : DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE LIGHT FLASH DURING THE TEST.
_______ SUPPLY A COVER, OR SHIELD, TO GIVE PROTECTION FROM THE LIGHT FLASH TO PERSONS IN THE TEST AREA.
(1) Do the operational test of the anticollision/strobe light system (Ref. TASK 33-48-00-710-002). ________

WARNING : DO NOT TOUCH THE STROBE LIGHTS FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES AFTER
_______ OPERATION. THE STROBE LIGHT WILL STILL BE HOT.
WARNING : DO NOT REMOVE THE STROBE LIGHT FOR AT LEAST TEN MINUTES AFTER YOU
_______ DE-ENERGIZE THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS. THE HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL CURRENT IN THE CAPACITOR OF THE STROBE LIGHT IS DANGEROUS.
