WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE SAFETY PIN IS CORRECTLY INSTALLED IN THE
_______ HATCH FRAME IF THE EMERGENCY EXIT HATCH IS REMOVED. THIS PREVENTS AN ACCIDENTAL OPERATION OF THE ESCAPE SLIDE MECHANISM DURING THE MAINTENANCE.
WARNING : DO NOT OPEN THE EMERGENCY EXITS.

NOTE : This test is for the left emergency exits. The test for the right

1. In the cockpit, on the overhead circuit breaker panel 49VU:
-make sure that the circuit
breakers, LIGHTING/EMER
LT/CABIN, 1WL and 2WL are
closed.
2. On the forward left emergency Between the left emergency exits: escape hatch:
-pull down and remove the cover - the SLIDE ARMED light on the cabin flap from the hatch, lining comes on,
-push the latch pin against the - the SLIDE ARMED light goes off.
spring and turn it a quarter
turn counterclockwise to
retract it to the DISARMED
position,
On the left overwing fuselage:
