Put the stepladder in position at the applicable location.
(2)
Remove the center ceiling panel 241CC to get access to the power supply unit (1) (Ref. TASK 25-23-41-000-001).

A. Removal of the Power Supply Unit
(1)
Remove and discard the lockwire from the electrical connector (5). WARNING : DO NOT DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS FOR AT LEAST 2
_______ MINUTES AFTER YOU DE-ENERGIZE THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS.
(2)
Disconnect the electrical connectors (2) and (5) from the power supply unit (1).
(3)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4)
Remove the screws (4) and the washers (3).
(5)
Remove the power supply unit (1) from the fuselage.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the switch 2LV BEACON ON-OFF on the overhead panel 25VU is in the OFF position.
(2)
Make sure that the switch 4WL EMER EXIT LT OFF-ARM-ON on the overhead panel 25VUis in the OFF position.
(3)
Make sure that the pushbutton EMERG LIGHT on the FWD Attendant Panel (FAP) is in the released position.
(4)
Make sure that the stepladder is in position at the applicable position.
(5) Make sure that the center ceiling panel 241CC is removed. Subtask 33-48-36-865-051
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged

4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Power Supply Unit
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Put the power supply unit (1) in position on the fuselage.
(4)
Install the power supply unit (1) with the screws (4) and the washers
(3) and tighten.
(5)
Apply STRUCTURE PAINTS (Material No. 16-003) on one of the screws (4)
(Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).
(6)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(7)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(8)
Connect the electrical connectors (2) and (5) to the power supply unit (1).
(9)
Safety the electrical connector (5) with lockwire - corrosion resistant steel 0.6mm (0.24 in.) dia..
