B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the aircraft is on a horizontal surface.
(2)
Do a precise leveling (Ref. TASK 08-22-00-200-001).
4. Procedure
_________
(Ref. Fig. 502/TASK 33-46-12-991-006) Subtask 33-46-12-820-052
A. Adjustment of the Taxi Light
(1) Install the screen (2) in front of the aircraft. The distance between the screen and the nose landing gear must be 10 m (32.80 ft.).
NOTE : The screen can be a wooden board with a minimum height of 3 m
____
(9.84 ft.) and a minimum width of 2 m (6.56 ft.).
(2) Angular adjustment of the taxi light
(a) Measure the distance "X" between the aircraft centerline and the ground. To do this, measure the distance between one of the leveling triangles and the ground (Ref. AMM 11-21-08 P.Block 001).
NOTE : To get an accurate distance, the aircraft must be on a
____
horizontal surface.
(b)
Subtract the vertical value 2.48 m (8.13 ft.) from the distance "X". This gives you the value "Y", which is the distance between the ground and the target on the screen. You must adjust the light beam to the center of the target.
(c)
Tighten or loosen the nuts (1) of the lower fork to adjust the light beam on the target.
(d)
Tighten the nuts (1) and make sure that the adjustment is correct.
(e)
Safety the nuts (1) together with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).

R 3. System Description__________________
R (Ref. Fig. 002)
R The logo lights 4LY and 5LY are installed on the horizontal stabilizer in
R the zones 334 and 344. Each logo light consists of a housing which contains
R the lamp assembly and a step-down transformer. The step-down transformer
R lower the aircraft's 115VAC to 28VAC power supply.
R The toggle switch 'NAV/LOGO' 3LA, installed on the cockpit overhead panel
R 25VU, controls the logo lights together with the navigation lights. The
R toggle switch has these positions:
R - 2,
R - 1,
R - OFF.
R When you set the toggle switch 3LA to the 1 (2) position the logo lights
R come on automatically with the NAV1 (NAV2) lights during the subsequent
R flight phases:
R - taxiing,
R - take off,
R - landing.
4. Power Supply
____________
R (Ref. Fig. 002)
R 115 V AC is supplied to each logo light from the normal busbars 101XP and
R 202XP.This is controlled through the circuit breakers 1LY and 2LY. The
R circuit breakers 1LY and 2LY are installed on the circuit breaker panel
R 122VU.
