Remove the center ceiling panel 241CC to get access to the upper beacon/strobe light (Ref. TASK 25-23-41-000-001).

A. Removal of the Upper Beacon/Strobe LIght 7LV
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the light assembly (2).
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(3)
Loosen the screw (7), remove the attach ring (6) from the flange (3) and discard the O-ring (4).
(4)
Remove the movable part of the flange (3) together with the light assembly (2).
(5)
Remove the countersunk screws (5).
(6)
Remove the light assembly (2) with the seal (12) from the flange (3).
(7)
Discard the seal (12).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the stepladder is in position below the ceiling panel 241CC.
(2)
Make sure that the ceiling panel 241CC is removed.
(3)
Make sure that the switch 2LV BEACON ON-OFF on the overhead panel 25VU is in the OFF position.
(4)
Make sure that the switch 4WL EMER EXIT LT OFF-ARM-ON on the overhead panel 25VU is in the OFF position.
(5)
Make sure that the pushbutton EMERG LIGHT on the FWD Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH is in the released position.
