A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE is in position to tell persons not to operate the anti-collision lights.
(2)
For the upper anti-collision light:
-Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 6M (20 FT) in position at the upper anti-collision light.

A. Reactivation of the Anti-Collision Lights
CAUTION : DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS.
_______ THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.
NOTE : For the torque values of the screws see the related AMM 20-21-11

(Ref. TASK 20-21-11-911-001).
(1)
Remove the tape from the related anti-collision light.
(2)
Remove the tape from the cable hole in the housing (15) of the anti-collision light.
(3)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(4)
Remove the countersunk screws (3) from the housing (15).
(5)
Lift the housing (15) until you can see the electrical connector (9).
(6)
Disconnect the electrical connector (9) from the housing (15) and support the electrical connector (9).
(7)
Replace the seal:
FOR 6LV
discard the seal (14) and install a new seal (14).
FOR 7LV
discard the seal (34) and install a new seal (34).
(8)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(9)
Connect the electrical connector (9) to the housing (15).
(10)
Remove the screws (5) and the plate (4) from the housing (15).
(11)
Remove the screw (6) and the transformer (7) from the housing (15).
(12)
Support the transformer (7).
