A. Removal of the Emergency Exit Sign
(1)
Remove the emergency exit sign-lens (2).
(2)
Remove the screws (3) and the washers (4).
(3)
Remove the emergency exit sign (1) sufficiently to get access to the electrical connectors (5).
(4)
Disconnect the electrical connectors (5).
(5)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(6) Remove the emergency exit sign (1).

Remove the lenses (1), (6) from the housings (4), (9).
(2)
Remove the screws (2), (7) and the washers (3), (8).

Remove the housings (4), (9).

On the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL is in the OFF position.

(3)
On the Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, make sure that the LIGHT EMER pushbutton switch and its integral light are off.
(4)
Make sure that the stepladder is in the correct position.
