A. General
(1) The TAT/SAT/TAS indicator is installed on the F/O's instrument panel (P3). The indicator is connected to the ARINC 429 digital bus 2.

B. Procedure

(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P18 Load Control Center
1) A7, TAT Indicator
(b)
P42 5-Volt Lighting Main Instrument Panel 1) 5V AC SEC

(2) Remove the TAT/SAT/TAS indicator.
(a) Loosen the two adjustment screws adjacent tothe indicator.
CAUTION: CAREFULLY PULL THE INDICATOR FROM THE INSTRUMENT PANEL.
_______ TOO MUCH FORCE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE ON THE REAR OF THE INDICATOR.
(b)
Pull the indicator from the instrument panel.
(c)
Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear of the indicator.
(d)
Put dust caps on the electrical connectors.

(1) Make sure that these circuit breakers are open with the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags attached:

1) A7, TAT Indicator
(b)
P42 5-Volt Lighting Main Instrument Panel 1) 5V AC SEC

(2) Install the TAT/SAT/TAS indicator.
(a)
Remove the dust cap from the electrical connector.
(b)
Connect the electrical connector at the rear of the indicator.
CAUTION: CAREFULLY PUT THE INDICATOR INTO THE INSTRUMENT PANEL.
_______ TOO MUCH FORCE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE ON THE REAR OF THE INDICATOR.
(c)
Put the indicator into the instrument panel.
(d)
Tighten the two adjustment screws adjacent to the indicator.
