(b) Remove the vinyl adhesive tape from the probe pitot chamber drain hole.

Examine the pitot-static probes for unwanted materials and rough locations on the inner and outer surfaces (Ref 34-11-11/601).

(2) Open the FLAP LOAD RELIEF circuit breaker on the load control panel P6.

(3) Open the STALL WARNING NO. 1 and NO. 2 circuit breakers on load control panels P6 and P18.

(4) Install the pitot-static probe adapter on the upper right pitot-static probe.
CAUTION:_______DO NOT EXTEND THE SEALS INTO THE PITOT DRAINS . YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE IN THE AREA WHEN YOU REMOVE THE SEALS.
(a) Seal the pitot chamber drain hole on the bottom of the probe with vinyl adhesive tape.
NOTE: You will find the drain hole about 2.25 inches aft of
____
the probe tip.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT YOU FLUSH THE PROBE ADAPTER WITH WATER
_______ BEFORE YOU ATTACH THE ADAPTER TO THE PROBE. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE PROBE OR THE ADAPTER.
(b) Flush the probe adapter with water.
