 (5)  S 864-011Make sure the hose connections are locked in the sealed position.
 (6)  S 864-012Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).
 (7)  S 864-013Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close the applicable circuit breakers: (a) P18 Load Control Center 1) A8, COMPUTER-1 AC 2) A9, COMPUTER-1 (26V AC)
 (b)  P6 Load Control Center 1) B6, COMPUTER-2 26V AC 2) B7, COMPUTER-2 AC
 (8)  S 744-014Do a BIT test of the air data computer: (a) Set the TEST SELECT switch on the front of the air data computer to the FUNCTION position. (b) Push and hold the PUSH TO TEST switch. (c) Make sure that the TEST VALID WHEN LIT light comes on in approximately 30 seconds. (d) Release the PUSH TO TEST switch.

 AIR DATA SYSTEM INDICATORS - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  This subject has tasks for the removal and installation of the air data system indicators. For each indicator, the first task is to remove the indicator. The second task is to install the indicator. The installation task includes a test of the installation of the indicator.
 B.  The indicator is held in the instrument panel by an instrument mounting clamp. The instrument mounting clamp is attached to the instrument panel with two mounting screws (Fig. 401). The indicator is held in the mounting clamp by the two adjustment screws. To remove the indicator from the instrument panel, it is only necessary to loosen the two adjustment screws.

 2.  Mach Airspeed Indicator Removal_______________________________
 A.  General
 (1)  
The captain's mach airspeed indicator (N2) is installed on the captain's instrument panel (P1). The first officer's mach airspeed indicator (N3) is installed on the first officer's instrument panel (P3).

 (2)  
The circuit breakers for the captain's indicator are on the P18 load control panel. The circuit breakers for the first officer's indicator are on the P6 load control panel.

 (3)  
The circuit breakers for the lighting of the captain's indicator are on the P41 5-volt lighting main instrument panel. The circuit breakers for the lighting of the first officer's indicator are on the P42 5-volt lighting main instrument panel .


 B.  Procedure
 S 864-002
 (1)  Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
 (a)  
P18 Load Control Center
 1) A8, COMPUTER-1 AC
 2) A9, COMPUTER-1 (26V AC)


 (b)  
P6 Load Control Center
 1) B6, COMPUTER-2 26V AC
 2) B7, COMPUTER-2 AC

 

 S 864-003
 (2)  Open the applicable circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
 (a)  
P18 Load Control Center
 1) B10, MACH ASI (26V AC)


 (b)  
P6 Load Control Center
 1) C5, MACH ASI
