(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

P6 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) EFIS CONT PANEL R
2) EFIS SYM GEN R
(b)
P18 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) EFIS CONT PANEL L
2) EFIS SYM GEN L

CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE CONNECTOR PINS OR OTHER CONDUCTORS ON THE EFIS
_______ CONTROL PANEL. IF YOU TOUCH THESE CONDUCTORS, ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EFIS CONTROL PANEL.
(2) Loosen the four quarter-turn fasteners on the front of the EFIS control panel.

Disconnect the electrical connector on the rear of the EFIS control panel.

Connect the electrical connector at the rear of the EFIS control panel.

Put the EFIS control panel into position on the pilot's aft
electronics panel, P8.
NOTE: If there was a blank placard on the range switch of the old
____ EFIS control panel, make sure you put it on the new EFIS control panel

(5) Tighten the four quarter-turn fasteners on the front of the EFIS control panel.
D. Prepare for the EFIS Control Panel Test

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Make sure the BAT switch on the pilots' forward overhead panel is in the ON position.

Make sure the STANDBY POWER switch on the pilots' forward overhead panel is in the AUTO position.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT YOU OPERATE THE EQUIPMENT COOLING SYSTEM BEFORE
_______ YOU ENERGIZE AN ELECTRONIC SYSTEM. TOO MUCH HEAT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT.

Supply the cool air from the equipment cooling system
(AMM 21-58-02/501).
