 (3)  Remove the mach airspeed indicator:
 (a)  Loosen the two adjustment screws adjacent to the indicator (Fig. 401).
 CAUTION: CAREFULLY PULL THE INDICATOR FROM THE INSTRUMENT PANEL.
_______ TOO MUCH FORCE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE ON THE REAR OF THE INDICATOR.
 (b)  
Pull the indicator from the instrument panel.

 (c)  
Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear of the indicator.

 (d)  
Put dust caps on the electrical connections.

 1) B6, COMPUTER-2 26V AC
 2) B7, COMPUTER-2 AC

 (3)  Install the mach airspeed indicator: (a) Remove the dust caps from the electrical connections. (b) Connect the electrical connector at the rear of the indicator.
 CAUTION:_______ CAREFULLY PUT THE INDICATOR INTO THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. TOO MUCH FORCE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE ON
 THE REAR OF THE INDICATOR.
 (c) (d)  Put the indicator into the instrument panel.Tighten the two adjustment screws adjacent to the indicator (Fig. 401).

 4.  Altimeter Removal_________________
 A. General
 (1)  
The captain's altimeter indicator (N39) is installed on the captain's instrument panel (P1). The first officer's altimeter indicator (N40) is installed on the first officer's instrument panel (P3).

 (2)  
The circuit breakers for the captain's indicator are on the P18 load control panel. The circuit breakers for the first officer's indicator are on the P6 load control panel.

 (3)  
The circuit breakers for the lighting of the captain's indicator are on the P41 5-volt lighting main instrument panel. The circuit breakers for the lighting of the first officer's indicator are on the P42 5-volt lighting main instrument panel .
