(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P18 Load Control Center
1) C1, CAPT UPPER L
2) C2, CAPT LWR R
3) C3, F/O UPPER R
4) C4, F/O LWR L

WARNING:_______MAKE SURE THE PROBE HEAT IS NOT ON. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
CAUTION:_______DO NOT PUT OBJECTS INTO THE STATIC PORTS. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE PITOT-STATIC SYSTEM.
(2)
Make sure the pitot-static probe is not damaged (AMM 34-11-11/601).
(3)
Disconnect the pitot-static hoses from the probe (AMM 34-11-11/401).

(4) Blow compressed dry air into the line fittings of the probe.
(a)
Make sure the air comes out of the pitot opening.
(b)
Make sure the air comes out of the static ports.

Connect pitot-static hoses to the probe.

Tighten the line fittings to the values that follow:
Pitot (P) pressure line 140 |4 pound-inches
Static (S1) pressure line 190 |10 pound-inches
Static (S2) pressure line 270 |14 pound-inches

CAUTION: DO NOT USE FLUIDS THAT CONTAIN SODIUM CHLORIDE OR SULFUR
_______ COMPOUNDS TO CLEAN THE PROBE. SODIUM CHLORIDE AND SULFUR CAN CAUSE PREMATURE FAILURE OF THE PROBE.
(2)
Soak or flush the pitot-static probe with clean water.
(3)
Drain water from the pitot-static probe.
