 THE TEST HOSES.  YOU CAN BEND OR TWIST THE PITOT-STATIC PROBE
 OUT OF TOLERANCE.

 CAUTION: DO NOT DISCONNECT THE PNEUMATIC TEST SET UNLESS THE
_______ PITOT-STATIC SYSTEM IS AT AMBIENT PRESSURE. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  
Disconnect the pneumatic test set from the pitot-static probe adapters.

 (3)  
Remove the probe adapters from all of the pitot-static probes.


 (a)  Remove the probe adapters from the probes.
 NOTE: Dry off the pitot-static probes with a soft rag when you
____ use ethylene glycol.
 CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT YOU REMOVE ALL OF THE PIECES OF TAPE FROM
_______ EACH PITOT-STATIC PROBE. THE SYSTEM WILL NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY UNLESS THE TAPE IS REMOVED.
 (b)  Remove the vinyl adhesive tape from all of the probe pitot chamber drain holes.
 WARNING: WHEN THE STATIC PORTS ARE COVERED, MAKE SURE THAT
_______ CONDITION IS VISIBLE FROM THE GROUND. FAILURE TO OBSERVE AND REMOVE COVERINGS FROM THE STATICPORTS BEFORE FLIGHT MAY CAUSE LARGE ERRORS IN AIRSPEED SENSING AND ALTITUDE SENSING SIGNALS, WHICH MAY LEAD TO LOSS OF SAFE FLIGHT.
 (c)  Remove the vinyl adhesive tape from the upper left and lower left probe static ports (S1 and S2).

Examine the pitot-static probes for unwanted materials and rough locations on the inner and outer surfaces (Ref 34-11-11/601).

Make sure that the pitot-static probes do not show damage to the pitot tip or the static ports (Ref 34-11-11/601).

 (6)  
Remove all of the pitot-static pneumatic test hoses and equipment.

Close the STALL WARNING NO. 1 and NO. 2 circuit breakers on load control panels P6 and P18.

Close the FLAP LOAD RELIEF circuit breaker on the load control panel P6.

Remove the cap and connect the cabin altitude differential pressure indicator to its static pressure source.

 A. Standard Tools and Equipment
 (1)  
Air data test set, Castleberry AT700-2, Castleberry Instr & Avionics, Austin, TX; or equivalent

 (2)  
Pitot-static probe adapter kit, P/N AD-953-7, Nav-Aids Ltd., Montreal, Canada; or equivalent

 (3)  
Flow restrictors, control valves, cutoff valves, vinyl adhesive tape, and port seals as required
