C. Procedure

(1) Make sure this circuit breaker is closed:
(a) P18 Circuit Breaker Panel

Make sure the EFI and IRS transfer switches on the pilot's overhead panel, P5, are in the NORMAL position.

Set the two mode switches on the IRS mode select unit (MSU) to the ATT position.

Use the Inertial System Display Unit (ISDU) to put a heading into the IRUs.

Make sure the ALIGN lights go off.

Set the DH REF control on the left EFIS control panel to a different value than the DH REF control on the right EFIS control panel.

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is for the removal of the EFIS control panel from the pilots' aft electronics panel, P8. The second task is for the installation of the EFIS control panel into the pilots' aft electronics panel.
B. Four quick-release fasteners hold each EFIS control panel in position. One electrical connector attaches an electrical cable to the rear panel of the EFIS control panel.
