 (7)  Make sure the EFI transfer switch on the pilots' overhead panel, P5, is in the NORMAL position.
 E. EFIS Control Panel Test

 (1)  
Push the INIT/REF key on the FMCS CDU.

Push the line select key (LSK) 6L (<INDEX) on the FMCS CDU.

Push the LSK 6R (MAINT>).


 (a)  Make sure the FMCS CDU display shows the MAINT BITE INDEX 1/1 page.

Push the LSK 5L (<EFIS).

 (a)  Make sure the FMCS CDU display shows the EFIS BITE TEST page.

Push the LSK 3L (<SELF TEST).

 ELECTRONIC ATTITUDE DIRECTOR INDICATOR (EADI) - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General (Fig. 401)_______
 A.  Two EADIs are installed in the airplane, one on each pilot's instrument panel. Each unit is installed on a mounting tray and held by a hinged mounting assembly and two mounting screws. Each EADI has an electrical connection at the rear of the unit.
 NOTE:____Only one EADI should be removed at a time. When an EADI is installed, its inclinometer is adjusted to be the same as the inclinometer of the other EADI.
 If the two EADIs have to be removed at the same time, or if the inclinometer adjustments on the EADIs are possibly incorrect, it is necessary to level the airplane, and then adjust the inclinometers to the mid position (AMM 08-10-00, Leveling and Weighing).
