CAUTION:_______DO NOT PULL THE CRT HANDLE. THE HANDLE TURNS OUT AUTOMATICALLY WHEN THE SPRING IS RELEASED. HOLD THE HANDLE UNTIL IT IS COMPLETELY RELEASED FROM THE SCREWS. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE HANDLE IF YOU TURN IT OUT BEFORE IT IS RELEASED FROM THE SCREWS.

Hold the CRT handle against the EADI.

Loosen the two screws at the top of the EADI display.

Pull the handle out and down.

Pull the control column rearwards and hold it there.

CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE CONNECTOR PINS OR OTHER CONDUCTORS ON THE
_______ EADI. IF YOU TOUCH THESE CONDUCTORS, ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EADI.

Slowly pull the EADI out from the instrument panel.
(8)
Install a dust cap on the electrical connector of the EADI.

Make sure hydraulic power is removed from the flight controls (AMM 29-15-00/201).

Make sure these circuit breakers are open:
(a)
P6 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) F/O EADI
2) EFIS SYM GEN R
(b)
P18 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) CAPT EADI
2) EFIS SYM GEN L

(3) Make sure the cooling air inlet and outlet screens on the rear of the EADI are clean.

CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE CONNECTOR PINS OR OTHER CONDUCTORS ON THE

Remove the dust cap from the electrical connector of the EADI.

Slowly push the EADI into the instrument panel.
NOTE: Make sure that the handle is fully extended out.

Slowly release the control column.

Put the handle in the up and locked position.

While the handle is held, tighten the mounting screws.Prepare for the EADI Test
