Install the TOOL-ZERO LOCKING, FLAP SLAT CTL LEVER (98D27803500001) on the flap/slat control lever.
(2)
Put warning notices in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.

Put the access platform in position below the applicable aileron, zone 575(675).
(2)
Remove the access panels:

for the left wing, remove 575AT, 575JB, 575KB, 575LB, 575MB
-
for the right wing, remove 675AT, 675JB, 675KB, 675LB, 675MB.

A. Preparation for Inspection
(1) Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean the hinge fittings.
Subtask 57-51-00-220-050
B. Inspection
(1)
Examine the aileron hinge fittings to make sure that:
-
there is no damage
-
there is no corrosion
-
there are no scratches and/or scores
-the surface protection is in the correct condition.
(2)
Examine the aileron A-frames to make sure that:
-
there is no damage
-
there are no scratches and/or scores
-
there is no corrosion
-the surface protection is in the correct condition.
NOTE : If necessary, refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 575100) for the

correct repair procedure.
