A. Safety Precautions
(1) Put the warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or the slats.
(2) Put the safety barriers in position.

B. Get Access WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS ARE
_______ CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1)
Fully extend the flaps (Ref. TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
(2)
Make sure that the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER is installed on the flap/slat control lever.
(3)
Open the MLG doors (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(4)
Make sure that the GROUND LOCK SLEEVE is on the applicable MLG door actuator.
(5)
Put the access platform in position below zone 570(670).
(6)
Put the access platform in position to get access to the top surface of the wing in zone 570(670).
(7)
Remove the upper wing/fuselage fillet fairing(s) 191ET(192ET) (Ref. TASK 53-35-11-000-001) to get access to the three shroud box/fuselage attachments.
