A. Safety Precautions
(1) Put warning notices in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
(2) Put the safety barriers in position. Subtask 57-51-00-860-052
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Fully extend the flaps (Ref. TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
(2)
Fully extend the spoilers (Ref. TASK 27-60-00-866-002).
(3)
Make sure that the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER is installed on the flap/slat control lever.

Make sure that the COLLAR-SAFETY, SPOILER is installed on the spoiler
actuator.

Put the access platform(s) below the applicable wing trailing edge, zones 573(673) and 575(675).
