A. Safety Precautions
(1)
Make sure that the safety devices are on the landing gears (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-481-001). Put the safety barriers in position.
(2)
Put warning notices in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the landing gear or the landing gear doors.

B. Get Access
Put the access platform below the applicable zone 571 or 671.
(1) Remove the MLG Leg Assembly (Ref. TASK 32-11-11-000-001).

CAUTION : BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING_______ EDGE: - DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS. - DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS. - MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

R R A. Preparation for Inspection
R R (1) Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean: - the rear pintle pin (1) - the greaser plug (2) (with the O-rings (4) removed) - the bolt (3) - the anti-rotation washer (5) and the half-seals (8) and (9) - the circlip (11), the locking washer (12), the nut (13) and the washer (14) - the sliding bush (15), the rear pintle mounting structure and the fixed bushes (6), (7) and (10).

B. Inspection
(1) Examine the rear pintle pin (1), the greaser plug (2) and the related MLG structural attachments. Make sure that: - there is no corrosion or damage - there is free movement of the parts that move.
NOTE : If necessary, refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 572613) and the CMM____ (Ref. CMM 321107) for the correct repair procedures.
