NOTE : During this procedure, you will remove the two inner hinge pins only
____ for each spoiler. It is not necessary to remove the outer hinge pins.
Subtask 57-51-00-941-077
A. Safety Precautions
(1)
Install the TOOL-ZERO LOCKING, FLAP SLAT CTL LEVER (98D27803500001) on the flap/slat control lever.
(2)
Put warning notices in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
(3) Put the safety barriers in position. Subtask 57-51-00-010-079
B. Get Access
(1)
Put the adjustable access platform below the applicable wing trailing edge, zone 573(673).
(2)
Remove the applicable access panels:
(a)
For the left wing, remove:
-573CB (Ref. TASK 57-51-37-000-002)
-575AB, 575DB, 575EB, 575GB (Ref. TASK 57-51-37-000-004).
(b)
For the right wing, remove:
-673CB (Ref. TASK 57-51-37-000-002)
-675AB, 675DB, 675EB, 675GB (Ref. TASK 57-51-37-000-004).
4. Procedure

DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
-MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

-scratches and/or scores
-correct condition of the protective finish.

(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
