 (1) Extend the slats fully (Ref. TASK 27-80-00-866-004). 
R  (2) Make sure that the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER is installed on the flap/slat control lever. 
R R  (3) Put the adjustable access platform below the applicable wing leading edge at slat 4, zone 522(622).

 A. Preparation for Inspection
 (1) Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean the slat 4 skin connection in the area of the lower girder at track ribs 9 and 10.
 Subtask 57-45-00-280-051 
R  B. Inspection
R R  (1) Do a special detailed inspection of the slat 4 skin connections in the area of the lower girder (ribs 9 and 10) (Ref. NTM 57-45-04 PART 9). 
R R R R  NOTE : If necessary, refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 574000) for the____ correct repair procedure. If the defect is not included in this repair, you must request a procedure from Airbus Industrie.
 5. Close-up________

 A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 5CV, 7CV.
 Subtask 57-45-00-860-055
