R A. Preparation for Installation
R (1) Clean the component interfaces and/or the adjacent area with a
R MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS
R (Material No. 11-026).
R (2) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
R (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are
R clean and in the correct condition.
R (4) If the access panel seal is damaged, replace it (Ref. TASK 57-51-37-
R 960-001).

R B. Installation of the Access Panels
R (Ref. Fig. 403/TASK 57-51-37-991-005)
R (1) Install the access panel 575AB(675AB) (4) as follows:
R (a) Put the access panel (4) in position and attach it with two of
R the outer camloc fasteners (3).
R (b) Set the access panel (4) so that:
R - dimension X is between 0.1 mm (0.0039 in.) and 4.3 mm (0.1692
R in.) along the full length of the panel. Try and set the
R clearance as near as possible to 2.0 mm (0.0787 in.).
R - dimension Y is between 3.0 mm (0.1181 in.) and 6.0 mm (0.2362
R in.) along the full width of the panel inboard end. Try and set
R the clearance as near as possible to 4.0 mm (0.1574 in.).
R - dimension Z is between 3.0 mm (0.1181 in.) and 6.0 mm (0.2362
R in.) along the full width of the panel outboard end. Try and
R set the clearance as near as possible to 4.0 mm (0.1574 in.).
R (c) Attach the access panel (4) to the wing with the remaining camloc
R fasteners (3).
R (d) Fill the clearance between the access panel (4) and the trailing
R edge of the wing skin with SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016).
R (2) Install the access panel 575BB(675BB) (2) as follows:
R (a) Put the access panel (2) in position and attach it with two of
R the outer camloc fasteners (1).
