A. Safety Precautions
(1)
Put warning notices in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
(2)
Put the safety barriers in position.

B. Get Access WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS ARE
_______ CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1)
Remove the fairings of the applicable No.4 flap track (Ref. TASK 57-55-11-000-001).
(2)
Remove the carriage from the applicable No.4 flap track beam (Ref. TASK 27-54-46-000-001).
(3)
If necessary, remove the No.4 actuator to get access to the flap track bolts (Ref. TASK 27-54-49-000-004).
(4)
Make sure that the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER (98D27803000000) is installed on the flap/slat control lever.
(5)
Put the access platform in position below the applicable No. 4 flap track beam (1), zone 587 (687).

B. Get Access WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS ARE

(1)
Remove the fairings of the applicable No.4 flap track (Ref. TASK 57-55-11-000-004).
(2)
Remove the carriage from the applicable No.4 flap track beam (Ref. TASK 27-54-46-000-001).
(3)
If necessary, remove the No.4 actuator to get access to the flap track bolts (Ref. TASK 27-54-49-000-004).
(4)
Make sure that the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER (98D27803000000) is installed on the flap/slat control lever.
(5)
Put the access platform in position below the applicable No. 4 flap track beam (1), zone 587 (687).
