A. Preparation for Inspection
WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL
_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
(1) Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) to clean the slat 5 skin connections in the area of the lower girder at ribs 11 and 12.

B. Inspection
(1) Examine the slat 5 skin connections in the area of the lower girder at track ribs 11 and 12. Make sure that:
-
there are no cracks
-
there is no corrosion
-
there is no damage
-the surface protection is in the correct condition.
NOTE : If necessary, refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 574000) for the
____
correct repair procedure.
5. Close-up

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 5CV, 7CV.

B. Aircraft Configuration
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2) Fully retract the slats (Ref. TASK 27-80-00-866-005). Subtask 57-46-00-942-059
C. Removal of Equipment
(1)
Remove the access platform(s).
(2)
Remove the safety barriers.
(3)
Remove the warning notice(s).
(4)
Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
