 Use the marks made during the removal procedure to install the pipes correctly. Position the brake-pipes (13) and (14) on the shroud box and install the clamp blocks (4) and the bolts (3). Do not tighten the bolts (3) at this stage.

 (20)
 Remove the blanking plugs from the brake-pipe connectors (15) and

 (16) and their related adapters on the structure.

 (21)
 Loosely connect the brake-pipe connectors (15) and (16) to their related adapters on the structure.

 (22)
 Remove the electrical harness from the plastic bag and put it in position on the shroud box.

 (23)
 Attach the electrical harness to the front spar of the shroud box with the cable clips (2) and the bolts (1).

 (24)
 Install the clamp blocks (12) on the brake-pipes (13) and (14) with the bolts (11) and the nuts (10). Do not fully tighten the nuts (10) at this stage.

 (25)
 Fully-tighten the brake-pipe connectors (15) and (16) onto their related adapters at the inboard end (Ref. TASK 20-23-11-917-001).

 

 

 


 (26) Fully-tighten the bolts (3) to attach the clamp blocks (4) to the
 shroud box.
 (27) Fully-tighten the nuts (10) on the bolts (11) to safety the clamp
 blocks (12).
 (28) Install the alternate-brake servo-valve manifold (2614GM, 2615GM)
 (Ref. TASK 32-43-31-400-001).

R  B. Installation of the Shroud Box 
R  (1) Carefully lift the shroud box into the correct position in the wing. 
R  Align all the attachment brackets with the related attachment 
R  brackets on the: 
R  - overwing panel 
R  - fixed shroud 
R  - fuselage. 
R  NOTE : The correct position of the shroud box on the aircraft is____ 
R  controlled by the attachment points as follows: 
R  - the position of the outboard end is controlled by the 
R  attachment brackets on the fixed shroud 
R  - the forward and aft position is controlled by the bolt holes 
R  in the overwing panel 
R  - the up/down position is controlled by the rods on the 
R  inboard end between the shroud box and the brackets on the 
R  fuselage. These rods are set and locked at aircraft build 
R  and must not be adjusted. 
R  (2) Support the shroud box. 
R  (3) At the outboard aft attachment bracket: 
R  (a) Align the hole in the outboard aft attachment bracket (91) (on 
R  the shroud box) with the hole in the bracket on the fixed shroud. 
R  (b) Install the floating bushes (90) into the outboard aft attachment 
R  bracket (91). 
R  (c) Install the bolt (92), the washer (93), the washer (89) and the 
R  nut (88).

 

R (d) Do not fully tighten the nut (88) at this stage.

R  (4) At the outboard forward attachment bracket: 
R  (a) Align the slotted hole in the outboard forward attachment bracket 
R  (78) (on the shroud box) with the hole in the bracket on the 
R  fixed shroud. 
R  (b) Install the slider bushes (77) into the outboard forward 
R  attachment bracket (78). 
R  (c) Install the bolt (75), the washer (76), the washer (81) and the 
R  nut (79). 
R  (d) Do not fully tighten the nut (79) at this stage. 
R  (5) At the inboard aft attachment bracket: 
R  (a) Align the hole in the end of the rod (56) with the hole in the 
R  inboard aft attachment bracket (61). Do not adjust the length of 
R  the rod (56). The rod (56) is set and locked at aircraft build 
R  and must not be adjusted. 
R  (b) Install the floating bush (57) into the inboard aft attachment 
R  bracket (61). 
R  (c) Apply a thin layer of COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-004) to the 
R  bolt (53). 
R  (d) Install the bolt (53), the washer (54), the washer(s) (58) and 
R  the nut (60). 
R  (e) Do not fully tighten the nut (60) at this stage. 
R  (6) At the inboard center attachment bracket: 
R  (a) Align the hole in the rod (47) with the hole in the inboard 
R  center attachment bracket (42). Do not adjust the length of the 
R  rod (47). The rod (47) is set and locked at aircraft build and
