R (1) Make sure that the flaps are fully retracted (Ref. TASK 27-50-00-866-009).
R (2) Install the TOOL-ZERO LOCKING, FLAP SLAT CTL LEVER (98D27803500001) R on the flap/slat control lever (Ref. TASK 27-00-00-480-002).
R (3) Put the warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate R the flaps. R

(1) Put the adjustable access platform below the applicable access panel, zone 573(673).

A. Removal of the Access Panels
(1)
For the access panel 573AB(673AB) (6):
(a) Release the nine camloc fasteners (5) then remove the access panel (6).
(2)
For the access panel 573BB(673BB) (4):
(a) Release the eight camloc fasteners (3) then remove the access panel (4).
(3)
For the access panel 573CB(673CB) (2):
(a) Release the five camloc fasteners (1) then remove the access panel (2).
