R  (1) Put the safety barriers in position. 
R  (2) Install the TOOL-ZERO LOCKING, FLAP SLAT CTL LEVER (98D27803500001) 
R  on the flap/slat control lever. 
R  (3) Put warning notices in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the 
R  flaps or slats. 
R  (4) Put the access platform in position below zone 500(600). 
R  (5) Install the wing safety rope (Ref. TASK 12-00-00-481-001).

R  (1) Use a clean MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with 
R  CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean: 
R  - the wing top-skin aft of the rear spar, from RIB10 and RIB20 at the 
R  buttstrap attachments.

R  B. General Visual Inspection of the Outer Wing, Top Skin External Surface 
R  Aft of Rear Spar, Between RIB10 and RIB20 at Buttstrap Attachments. 
R  (1) Inspect the wing top-skin at the locations where the skin is attached 
R  to the buttstrap. Make sure that: 
R  - there is no corrosion 
R  - there are no cracks, dents, burrs, scores or scratches 
R  - the fasteners are in the correct condition 
R  - the surface protection is not damaged or loose. 
R  NOTE : If necessary, refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 572100) for the____ 
R  correct repair procedure.
