A. Removal of the External Power Receptacle CAUTION : MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU
_______ R DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE R DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1)
Loosen the 4 nuts (14).
(2)
Remove the 4 nuts (14) and the washers (15, 13).
(3)
Remove the protective cover (1).
(4)
Loosen the 6 nuts (3).
(5)
Remove the nuts (3) and the washers (4).
(6)
Remove the electrical wires (5).
(7)
Loosen the 3 screws (2).
(8)
Remove the screws (2) and the washers (6).
(9)
Remove the 4 studs (12) and the 4 washers (11).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the access platform is in position at the access door
811.
(2)
Make sure that the access door 811 is open.
(3)
Make sure that the access platform is in position at the access door 121AL.
(4)
Make sure that the access door 121AL is open.
(5)
Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft receptacle.
(6)
Make sure that a warning notice is in position on the access door 121AL to tell persons not to use the external power receptacle.
(7)
In the cockpit, on the overhead ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
-BAT 1, BAT 2,
-APU GEN,
-GEN 1, GEN 2,
-EXT PWR.
(8)
In the cockpit, make sure that warning notices are in position to tell persons not to operate the pushbutton switches on these overhead panels:
-21VU (EMER ELEC PWR),
-35VU (ELEC).
(9)
In the cockpit, on the APU section of the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that a warning notice is in position to tell persons not to start the APU.

A. Installation of the External Power Receptacle
R R CAUTION : REFER TO THE MATCH MARKS MADE DURING THE REMOVAL WHEN YOU_______ CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL WIRES. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF THE WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Put a new seal (9) on its support (7).
(2) Put the external power receptacle (10) in position.
