A. Safety Precautions
(1) In the cockpit, on the overhead panel 35VU, release these pushbutton switches:
-BAT 1, BAT 2,
-GEN 1, GEN 2,
-EXT A.
(2) In the cockpit, put a warning notice to tell persons not to operate the pushbutton switches on these overhead panels: - 35VU (ELEC), - 21VU (EMER ELEC PWR).
(3) Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft receptacle EXT PWR A.
(4) Put a warning notice on the access door 121AL to tell persons not to connect the external power connector.
(5) Put an access platform at the avionics compartment door 822.

B. Get Access
(1) Put the access platform in position at the access door 822.
(2) Open the access door 822.
(3) In the avionics compartment, open the access door of the panel 105VU.

C. Disconnect the Batteries
(1) In the avionics compartment, on the batteries 1 and 2:
(a) Loosen the knurled nut by one quarter of a turn and disconnect the connector from the batteries 1 and 2.
(b) Put blanking caps on the diconnected electrical connectors.

A. Removal of the Contactor
R R CAUTION : REMOVE THE CONTACTOR ONLY AND NOT THE BASE OR THE MODULE WHERE_______ THE WIRES ARE CONNECTED.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (3).
(2) Put blanking caps on the connector (3) and the electrical receptacle (2).
(3) Loosen the 6 captive screws (4).
NOTE : Do not remove the captive screws (4) and the spring washers____ from the contactor (1).
(4) Disengage the contactor (1) from the base (7) and remove the contactor (1).
