(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (4).
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
R (3) Loosen the captive screws (3). NOTE : Do not remove the captive screws (3) and the spring washers

from the contactor (5).
(4) Release the contactor (5) from its base (1) and remove it.

A. Installation of the Contactor
(1)
Install the contactor (5) in position on the tapped barrels (6) of the contactor base (1).
(2)
TORQUE the captive screws (3) to between 0.27 and 0.30 m.daN (23.89 and 26.54 lbf.in).
(3)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(4)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(5)
Connect the electrical connector (4) to the contactor (5).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 3PC, 1XC, 2XC, 7XE, 4PE, 6XE Subtask 24-35-55-710-051
C. Operational Test of the DC Generation Control
(1) Do an operational test of the DC Generation Switching (Ref. TASK 24-32-00-710-001).
