Subtask 24-92-00-860-079
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
R (1) Extend the slats fully (Ref. TASK 27-80-00-866-004).
Subtask 24-92-00-862-066
B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
Subtask 24-92-00-869-082
C. Connect the aircraft to ground (Ref. TASK 12-34-24-869-002).
Subtask 24-92-00-010-072
D. Get Access
(1) Put the access platform in position at the wings.
R (2) At the wings: - Open the access panels 522AT and 622AT.
R (3) At the wings above the pylons: - Open the access panels 521BT and 621BT.
R R (4) At the pylons: - Open the access panels 413EL, 414FR, 423FL and 424ER.
4. Procedure
_________
Subtask 24-92-00-280-051
A. Measurement of the Resistance with a Loop Tester. (Ref. Fig. 631/TASK 24-92-00-991-037, 632/TASK 24-92-00-991-039)
R (1) Install the clip-on clamps of the test set-loop resistance (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-720-014) around the applicable braided conduit.
NOTE : It is not necessary to do a test of the conduits connected to
____ the non-conductive connectors (9QG-A and 10QG-A) because they are not part of the general electromagnetic protection.
(a)
Connect the multimeter to the output of the current measuring transformer (4mm plugs connected to the "COM" and "mA" sockets of the multimeter).
(b)
Set the multimeter to the "mA" position (push the "AC" button).
(c) Set the test set to on and adjust the RANGE and SETTING controls R until you get a current of 1 A on the multimeter.
(d) The test set meter shows directly the loop resistance in milliohms.
(2) Make sure that the measured values are not more than the maximum permitted value of 200 m.ohms.
(a) If the measured value is more than the maximum permitted value of 200 milliohms:
-do the electrical bonding of the electrical connectors (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-003) and of the components. Use conductive bolts and screws and bonding straps in the fuselage and in the wings (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).
5. Close-up
________
Subtask 24-92-00-410-074
A. Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Close the access panels at the wings and the pylons.

Disconnect the aircraft from ground (Ref. TASK 12-34-24-869-002).
(2)
Retract the slats (Ref. TASK 27-80-00-866-005)
(3)
Remove the access platform(s).
