(a)
Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b)
Make sure that a warning notice is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Get Access
(1)
Make sure that the access platform is in position on the right side of the engine.
(2)
Make sure that these access panels are removed:

For the right pylon: 424AR

For the left pylon: 414AR

Make sure that the right fan cowl is open (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-010-010):

4. Procedure

A. Installation of the IDG feeder cables
(1) Connection of the feeder cables on the right side of the pylon:
(a)
Install the IDG feeders in the engine electrical box 400VC.
(b)
Install the attachment plate (13), the four bolts (15), the four nuts (12) and tighten the nuts (12).
(c)
Install the new MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010) on the attachment plate and the connector (14).
(d)
Install the plate (16) on the engine electrical box, install the washers (17), the bolts (18) and tighten the bolts.
(e)
Install the spacers (5), the clamp blocks (6) and the bobbins
(11) on the pylon.
(f)
Install the spacers (7) and the clamps (8).
(g)
Install the washers (9), the nuts (10) and tighten the nuts (10).
(h)
Install the four electrical feeders on the plate 400VT (4) with the nuts (1).
(i)
Install the cover (3) and the new MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010) (2) on the plate (4).
(j)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(k)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(l)
Connect the IDG feeder connector to the connector (14).

B. Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Close the right fan cowl (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-410-010):

Close these access panels:

For the right pylon: 424AR
-
For the left pylon: 414AR
(4)
Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the warning notice(s). Subtask 24-92-00-710-050
C. Do an Idle Power Test (Ref. TASK 71-00-00-710-012)
(1) Make sure that the IDG 1(2) operates correctly.
(a)
Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(b)
On the ECAM control panel, push the ELEC key to get the ELEC page:
-
Make sure that the voltage of the IDG is 115 VAC.
-
Make sure that the frequency of the IDG is 400Hz + or - 5Hz.
