Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the pitch controls.
(2)
Put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green and Yellow hydraulic systems.

B. Get Access
(1)
Put an access platform in position below the access panels 334AB, 334BB, 334CB, 334DB, 334EB, 344AB, 344BB, 344CB, 344DB and 344EB.
(2)
Remove the access panels:
(a)
For the left Trimmable Horizontal Stabilizer (THS): 334AB, 334BB, 334CB, 334DB and 334EB.
(b)
For the right THS: 344AB, 344BB, 344CB, 344DB and 344EB.
4. Procedure

A. Inspection
(Ref. Fig. 626/TASK 24-92-00-991-032, 627/TASK 24-92-00-991-038)
(1) Do a general visual inspection of the components on these harnesses:
-405VB, 406VB, 407VB, 408VB, 409VB for the left THS,
-400VB, 401VB, 402VB, 403VB, 404VB for the right THS.
(a)
Do a check of the general condition of these components and make sure that they are correctly attached:
-electrical bonding leads,
-braided conduits,
-clamps,
-electrical connectors,
-braided shields.
(b)
Make sure that there is no sign of contamination (Ref. ESPM 205500) and corrosion (Ref. ESPM 205332).
