On the ECAM control panel, push the ELEC key (on the lower ECAM DU, the ELEC page comes into view).

On the ELEC page, make sure that:
-
the GEN 1(2) indication comes into view white,
-
the parameters related to GEN 1(2) come into view green,
-
the line between GEN 1(2) and AC 1(2) comes into view green,
-
the GEN 2(1) indication and the related parameters come into view green,
-
the APU GEN indication and the related parameters come into view green,
-
the line between APU GEN and AC2(1) comes into view green,
-
the line between APU GEN and AC1(2) goes out of view.
(5)
On the ELEC panel 35VU, release the APU GEN pushbutton switch:
-the OFF legend of the APU GEN pushbutton switch comes on.
(6)
On the ELEC page, make sure that:
-
the APU GEN indication comes into view amber and the OFF indication white,
-
the line between GEN1(2) and AC2(1) comes into view green,
-
the line between APU GEN and AC2(1) goes out of view.
(7)
Stop the APU (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

A. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits from the external power
(1)
On the ELEC panel 35VU, push and release the BAT1 and BAT2 pushbutton switches:
-the OFF legends come on.
(2)
On the panel 35VU, push the EXT PWR pushbutton switch:
-
the ON legend goes off,
-
the AVAIL legend comes on.
(3)
The aircraft electrical circuits are correctly de-energized if:
(a)
On the panel 35VU, these legends go off:
-
the FAULT legend of the GEN1 and GEN2 pushbutton switches,
-
the OFF legend of the BAT1 and BAT2 pushbutton switches,
-
the OFF legend of the GALLEY pushbutton switch.
(b)
On the panel 108VU, the EXT PWR/NOT IN USE indicator light comes on.
