A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
(2)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
R (3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
R (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2)
R pushbutton switch is off.
R (b) Put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to energize
R the FADEC 1(2).

R (1) Removal of the access panels
R (a) For the left pylon:
R - 414FR, 414CR, 414AR
R (b) For the right pylon:

R (d) For the right wing:
R - 621BT, 621EB, 621CB, 621AB
R (2) Open the FWD cargo-compartment door 825AR (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-
R 001).
R (3) Put the access platform in position at the access door 825AR.
R (4) In the zone 131, remove the sidewall and partition panels (Ref. TASK
R 25-54-12-000-003) and (Ref. TASK 25-54-12-000-001).
R (a) For the left IDG feeders:
R - 131PW, 131MW
R (b) For the right IDG feeders:
R - 132PW, 132MW

Open the FWD cargo-compartment door 825AR (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001).

Put the access platform in position at the access door 825AR.
(4)
In the zone 131, remove the sidewall and partition panels (Ref. TASK 25-54-12-000-003) and (Ref. TASK 25-54-12-000-001).

4. Procedure

A. Removal of the IDG feeder cables
(1) Disconnect the feeder cables from the right side of the pylon:
(a)
Remove the bolts (27), the washers (28) and the plate (29).
(b)
Disconnect the electrical connector from the connector (19).
(c) Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors. R (d) Remove the four nuts (18) and the four screws (21).
(e) Disengage the connector (19) from the engine electrical box (20).
(f) Remove the nut (14), the washer (15) and the bolt (17) from the
clamp (16).
R (g) Remove the bolt (13) and the washer (12) from the clamp (11).
R (h) Remove and discard the lockwire (22) from the two screws (23).
