A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
In the cockpit, on the overhead ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that the GEN 1 and GEN 2 pushbutton switches are in ON position (FAULT legend ON).
(3)
On the MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST page of the ELEC system (Ref. TASK 31-32-00-860-004).

B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) closed:

A. Test of the GPCU from the Centralized Fault Display System (CFDS)

1. On the MCDU, on the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST page of the ELEC system:
-push the line key adjacent to the AC GEN indication
2. On the AC GEN page:
-push the line key adjacent to the TEST indication
3. On the ELEC panel 35VU:
-release the GEN 1 and GEN 2 pushbutton switches
-push the GEN 1 and GEN 2
pushbutton switches
4. On the MCDU:
-push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the AC GEN page comes into view.
On the MCDU:
-
the AC GEN page comes into view.
On the MCDU, on the AC GEN page:
-
the TEST WAIT message comes into view(after a few seconds),
-then the TEST OK message comes into view (after a few seconds).
On the ELEC panel 35VU:
-
the OFF legend of the GEN 1 and GEN 2pushbutton switches comes on.
-
the FAULT legend of the GEN 1 and GEN2 pushbutton switches comes on.

B. Check of the class 3 faults of the GPCU from the CFDS
