R (1) If necessary, cut and remove the lockwire from the pressure fill-plug

R (2) Remove the pressure fill-plug (11) with the packing (10) from the
R lower pressure fill-boss, and retain for subsequent use.
R (3) If necessary, cut and remove the lockwire from the overflow
R drain-plug (9).
R (4) Remove the overflow drain-plug (9) with the packing (8) from the
R lower boss of the overflow drain, and retain for subsequent use.

R H. Installation of the Pressure Fill Fitting
R (1) Install the new packing (5) on the pressure fill fitting (6).
R (2) Install the pressure fill fitting (6) in the pressure fill-boss.
R TORQUE the fitting to between 10 and 15 lbf.ft (1.35 and 2.03 m.daN).
R (3) Install the dust cap (7) on the pressure fill fitting (6).

R (1) Install the new packing (2) on the overflow drain fitting (3).
R (2) Install the overflow drain fitting (3) in the overflow drain-boss.
R TORQUE the fitting to between 20 and 25 lbf.ft (2.71 and 3.38 m.daN).
R (3) Install the dust cap (4).

R K. Visual Inspection of the Receptable and Plugs
R (1) Examine the electrical receptacle and plug (20), (21) and (22) for
R dirt inside connectors.If the connectors are dirties, clean them with

R L. Installation of the Phase Leads and Electrical Connectors
R CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE WASHER IS INSTALLED BETWEEN THE PHASE LEADS_______
R AND THE TERMINAL NUT. IF NOT, THE TERMINAL BLOCK WILL BURN
R LOCALLY BECAUSE OF RESISTANCE HEATING.
R (1) Install the phase leads (26) on the generator terminal block. Make
R sure that the N, T1, T2 and T3 wire labels agree with the terminal
R labels (N, T-1, T-2, T-3).
R (2) Install the terminal nut with captive washer (30) on each terminal
R block stud. TORQUE the terminal nut with captive washer (30) to
R between 12 and 14 lbf.ft (1.62 and 1.89 m.daN).
R (3) Install the terminal block cover (27). Attach with the washers (29)
R and the screws (28).
R (4) TORQUE the screws to between 20 and 22 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.24 m.daN).
R (5) Remove the connector protective caps (23), (24), (25).
R (6) Carefully connect the electrical harness to the three electrical
R connectors 4000XUC (20), 4000XUA (21), 4000XUB (22) of the IDG.
