A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(2)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(3)
Make sure that ground fire extinguishing equipment is available.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

A. Removal of the APU Generator WARNING : DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE THREADS OF THE SET SCREWS WHEN YOU
_______ REMOVE OR INSTALL THE GENERATOR. THE GENERATOR WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 23kg (50.7lb).
(1)
Put the CABLE - SAFETY, APU GENERATOR on the generator to get a safe condition when you remove the generator.
(2)
Disconnect the electrical connector (12) from the APU generator (4).
(3)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4)
Remove the screws (17),the washers (16) and the cover plate (18).
(5)
Remove the nuts (19), the four electrical cables (20) and the washers (21).
(6)
Put a container below the generator (4) to collect the oil which will flow when you remove the drain plug (14).
(7)
Remove and discard the lockwire from the drain plug (14) and remove it. Take care to collect the drained oil in the container.
