B. Removal of the Contactor Base CAUTION : MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU
_______ DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
NOTE : The removal of the base is necessary only if the base is damaged.

If the base has the components that follow:
(a)
Remove the screws (9) and the washers (10).
(b)
Disconnect the electrical wires (11).
(2)
Remove the nuts (12) and the washers (13).

Disconnect the cables (14) from the base (6).
(4)
Remove the nuts (15) and the washers (16).
(5)
Remove the jumpers (17) from the base (6) and from the adjacent bases.
(6)
Remove the four screws (19) and the four washers (18).

If the module has the components that follow:
(a)
Remove the screws (9) and the washers (10).
(b)
Disconnect the electrical wires (11).
(2)
Remove the nuts (12) and the washers (13).
(3)
Disconnect the cables (14) from the module (5).
(4)
Remove the nuts (19) and the washers (18).
(5)
Remove the jumpers (17) from the module (5) and from the adjacent modules.
(6)
Remove the eight screws (16) and the eight washers (15).
(7)
Remove the module (5).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft EXT PWR receptacle.
(2)
Make sure that the warning notice(s) are in position on the access door 121AL to tell persons not to connect the external power connector to the aircraft EXT PWR receptacle.
(3)
In the cockpit, on the ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
